Africa lacks the confidence, commitment and patience to build and mature its non-resource industries and the main reason is their refusal to invest (in technical training and compensation) in the new human capital coming from the rural hinterland.

Depending on the country and the prospective partners there are very lucrative investment opportunities in for one South Africa with a good financial (Lawyers, courts , banks etc) infrastructure

The reputation of Africa as a destination for investment is not a good one.

Lack of ethics, compliance and corruption is not conducive to influencing investment. We are our own worst enemy.
