There are several funds investing into Africa and they all have their own specific areas of investment. One is the Abraaj Group which recently invested largely in the West African based dairy product producer Fan Milk International. Another is the CDC Group which is UK based and rank under the British Government. A third one is the AFIG Fund which has offices around Africa. There is also privately held Helios Investment Partners with focus on infrastructure and financial services. For the agricultural sector there is Phatisa. Trust this can help, best regards.
