William is a highly qualified practitioner, educator and researcher of peacebuilding and conflict transformation. He has extensively been involved in the design and facilitation of peacebuilding initiatives with various agencies in different parts of Africa and Asia. In 2002, he interned at the Center for Conflict Resolution (CECORE) in Uganda and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) in Tanzania. As part of his degree requirement for MA, William also interned at the Refugee Law Project, School of Law, Makerere University, Uganda, where he supported policy development on Transitional Justice in Uganda. He has also taught at Mindanao Peacebuilding institute. He is skilled in project management, training, research and advocacy. He also has a great expertise is in the design, implementation and evaluation of grassroots peacebuilding initiatives and peace education programs in schools. Currently, William is a Graduate candidate of international peace studies at the University of Norte Dame, Indiana, United States. His concentration is on organizational leadership and management (OLM). His previous engagements include work with the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK). William is therapist and the Founder/Executive Director of Neema Counselors, a counseling firm based in Nairobi, Kenya.
