Jonathan Tusubira is a Lecturer of Broadcasting at Uganda Film and Television Institute(UFTI), Kampala. He received his B.A at Makerere University, completed a Diploma in Journalism and Mass communication and is currently pursuing his MBA at Uganda Management Institute. At UFTI he developed many unique academic programs that relied on the impact of emerging technologies on the communication and The Broadcast Chain; he has also in conjunction with Dr. Rose Achola developed a Syllabi for Multi-skilling students at Cavendish University in Uganda. He furthermore manages and Coordinates a DRF(Disability Rights Fund) funded project at United Deaf Women’s Organization(UDEWO), where he trained in Ugandan Sign Language and his developing a Communication Strategy for UDEWO with the aim of Gender Main streaming Deaf Women and Girls and Uganda. Before joining UFTI, he coordinated a Youth Empowerment program at Livelihood Development International were the youth were empowered through skills development and Capacity Building. Previously he worked as programs/Operations manager at Step Radio and Step TV were through his innovative community focused programs, Step fm become the No.1 Community Radio Station in Eastern Uganda as rated by Steadman now called Synovate in 2009 and In 2011, Step TV won the prestigious International Children’s Day of Broadcasting (ICDB) Best Overall Award from UNICEF in the Television Category. This was on top of the Best Production Award for Step FM in the Radio Category.. Mr. Jonathan Tusubira who is a certified IT Infrastructure Library 2011 Expert conducted research at Uganda High Court on "The failure of Management Information Systems (MIS) in public Institutions" in 2006, and likewise early this year on invitation of the Chief Justice of Seychelles, is to write a concept paper on the newly installed MIS at the new Palais de Justice, the Supreme Court of Seychelles during a two week sabbatical this fall which will be the basis for his Thesis for his Masters Program.. He currently resides in Ntinda, Kampala Uganda with his Wife Lydia.

I write short books tackling issues such as un-employment, behavior change for Ugandan Youth. My books are also valid for youth in other African countries. The books are well designed, and knowledge is imparted through short stories that any youth in Africa especially in the urban area can relate with. I also tour school enlighten young people on behavioral issues such as negative attitudes, the need to live responsibly. the need to see beyond today, the need to honor each other.
