Mr. Folusho Obe is an investment, business development and strategy consultant involved with enterprise business development initiatives for SMEs in Sub Sahara Africa and other emerging markets. Mr Obe has over 20 years of experience across the pharmaceutical, consumer products, healthcare and medical devices industries in various areas such as product development, project management, business development, quality and compliance, manufacturing process improvement, strategy and technology transfer. He has worked and consulted with several large and midsize life sciences & Consumer products companies such Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Purdue Pharma, Catalent Pharma Solutions, Becton Dickinson, Taro Pharmaceuticals, Bayer Healthcare, Lakeside Pharmaceuticals, Merck & Company, Novartis Corporation, Hospira Pharmaceuticals(Now Part of Pfier Pharmaceuticals), Johnson Products Nigeria, Ltd. Company and Biomerieux Inc as a Praxis Life Sciences Senior Project Manager and Consultant. Mr. Obe has a BA in Biological Sciences & Chemistry from Rutgers University, NJ USA, an MBA in Management & Finance from Long Island University, NY, USA and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from New York University, NY, USA. He is also attended the University of St. Thomas Executive Education - Opus College of Business Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM) Program and is a Cretified Professional Project Manager. Mr Obe is also currently a Doctoral candidate in Public Health & Health Care Administration at Capella University in Minneapolis Minnesota. Mr. Obe is a managing partner with Phameds International, a consulting and advisory firm and a Business Director with Phamedics Consulting, a project consulting firm focused on Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance solutions for government regulated industries. Mr. Obe is a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientist, the American Management Association and the Project Management Institute. Mr. Obe is a regular panelist and private sector commentator on African Health Dialogues, a African Views Radio Program on Blog Talk Radio. He is most interested in creating and building enterprise development programs for sustainable business/economic development in emerging markets, especially Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
